How to designate a driver if you are the legal representative of a legal entity?
If as the legal representative of a legal entity you have received a fine notice, you are obliged, as from the 1st of January 2017, to designate the person who was driving the vehicle at the time of the offence.

To do this, just click on the following link: https://www.usagers.antai.gouv.fr/fr/demarches/saisienumero

Have to hand the fine notice which you received as well as the identity, contact details and driving license number of the person who was driving the vehicle at the time of the offence.

To identify yourself you will need:

1. The number of the fine notice (top left of the green sheet which you have received).
2. The name of the company which you represent and which figures under the statement the legal representative (top right of the green sheet which you have received).
3. The date of the fine notice.
4. The registration number of the vehicle.

Once you have entered your identifiers, you have to select the following situation: I owned the vehicle at the time of the offence, but: I had freely lent it to someone.

Then follow the designation process.

You don't need to pay the fine, or consign its amount.

Good to know:
For legal entities with a big fleet, a fleet management space will be opened as from March 2017 and will enable several designations to be entered simultaneously on the site www.antai.fr
For fleets of more than 1000 vehicles, the legal entities can make an agreement with ANTAI in order to automate driver designation.
