Covid-19 - Adaptation of Criminal Procedure Rules
To take account of the current state of public health emergency and in accordance with the provisions of Order 2020-303 of 25 March 2020, the time limits have been doubled for appealing against traffic offence notices and fixed fine notices sent by ANTAI.

As of 12 March 2020 and until one month after the end date of the current state of public health emergency:
•    The time limit for appealing against traffic offence notices and fixed fine notices has been extended from 45 days to 90 days from the date indicated on the notice;
•    For businesses, the time limit for designating the driver of a vehicle registered in the name of a legal entity is extended from 45 days to 90 days from the date indicated on the notice;
•    The time limit for appealing against increased fixed fine notices has been extended from 30 days to 60 days from the date indicated on the notice; Please note: if the increased fixed fine notice refers to a traffic offence and was sent to you by registered post, the time limit for lodging an appeal is increased from 3 months to 6 months from the date indicated on the notice.
